1. Drain the Residual Glue from The Glue Tank?

Set the temperature of the rubber box to 150-160 ° C (according to the melting setting of the hot melt adhesive).
Unload the pressure of the rubber pump.
Disassemble the hose and the glue gun, and drain the residual glue in the hot melt glue machine.
Drain the glue from the tank and remove the filter from the tank and the filter near the drain.
If the melter is just beginning to heat up, the incompletely melted residual glue can be completely removed from the tank. (Attention with high-temperature gloves operation).

2. Soak and clean the hot melt adhesive with a special cleaning agent.

Place the hot melt adhesive cleaning agent R solvent in a capacity of about 1/2.
The temperature of the plastic box is set to 130 ° Filter the filter and filter the plastic box.
The net and the nozzle are also placed in the cleaning agent, soaked for about 30 minutes, then the four walls and the bottom of the plastic box are scrubbed with a cotton cloth to remove the charcoal attached to the wall of the heating box, and the cleaning agent is drained from the rubber box discharging port.
Repeat the above procedure by placing approximately 1/3 of the tank capacity of R solvent if necessary. Then use a soft cloth to completely clean the charcoal or impurities in the tank. (Forbidden to use gasoline, Tianna water to clean.)

3.Clean the Nozzle

Nozzle, spray gun, adapter, filter net with high-pressure airflow or manually remove the internal softened impurities, and wipe with a cotton cloth.
Check the appearance of the filter during the cleaning process. If it is damaged, replace it with a new one.

4. After cleaning the melter, test the machine.

After the above steps are completed, connect the melter system. Add hot melt adhesive, set the operating temperature of the rubber tank/hose/ nozzle according to the equipment manual, and start production after the hot melt adhesive is melted.
In the actual production process, please carefully observe the shape of the hot melt adhesive at the nozzle.

Note:

Wear protective glasses and heat-resistant gloves during the cleaning of the hot melt machine.
Make sure the hot melt machine is thoroughly cleaned, otherwise the residual char will enter the nozzle and block again.
The actual use temperature, please strictly follow the instructions on the hot melt machine recommended temperature.
If the production line is temporarily shut down for more than 2 hours, please lower the temperature of the glue tank to about 130 °C.
Different grades of hot melt adhesive are forbidden to be mixed.
